Studio 1 - Vanessa Clegg

Vanessa’s background is in Fine Art painting, animation, theatre, and film design. Her current practice is to paint and draw on traditionally made gesso creating narratives relating to travel, environmental change, and her own past seen through the filter of 2020 and Covid. Particularly interested in incorporating experience in theatre and film into installation, Clegg continues to push her practice into other forms of media. 2020 RWA Open Exhibition: Winner of Watercolour Prize for “ Insomnia.” Vanessa is currently showing work in the EAST QUAY OPEN 2024 and Albatross Print Studio's MINI PRINT EXHIBITION.

Checking-in and Check-out

Rooms will usually be ready by 15.00pm on the day of arrival and we ask that on your day of departure you check out by 11:00am.

We understand that sometimes people will need to cancel their booking, but we also need to balance the impact on our social enterprise. If you wish to cancel your reservation we therefore ask you notify us 48 hours prior to arrival. After this time we reserve the right to take full payment. In the event of a non-arrival and no notification we reserve the right to recover the full cost of the booking.
