EXMOOR FARMS: A YEAR ON THE MOOR
A collaborative project between the Exmoor Society, the Exmoor Hill Farming Network, and local GCSE students

In celebration of the 70th Anniversary of Exmoor National Park and the 10th Anniversary of the Exmoor Hill Farming Network, this exhibition explores what it means to farm this beautiful corner of the UK’s uplands in the 21st century.

In May 2024, GCSE students studying photography at The Park Community School, Barnstaple and The Ilfracombe Academy, spent a day at Combe Farm near Exford, where they documented the daily rhythms of a working hill farm. The photographs were selected by the project photographer, Eleanor Davis.
