Rabab Ghazoul

Rabab Ghazoul is a socially-engaged visual artist, curator, community activist, and founder/director of gentle/radical, an arts organisation working hyper-locally within the neighbourhood of Riverside, Cardiff. She’s interested in the potentials of listening, the power of conversation, and in practices that reclaim and rebuild our relational wealth. Both within her own work as well as that of gentle/radical, Rabab finds resonances with adrienne maree brown’s invitation to work ‘inch-wide mile-deep’ and Bayo Akomolafe’s warning that ‘the times are urgent so we must slow down’.
