Lydia Brockless

Lydia is a visual artist living in Northumberland, UK. In her work, she is interested in the relationships between Earth's movements and changing emotional states, and explores these through a mixture of text, print, sculpture and image. She studied at Leeds College of Art and the Royal College of Art, and is founder of Field Shelter, an rural creative studio and project space overlooking Hadrian's Wall. She also teaches short courses for Central St Martins, and is a trustee of Cement Fields, a visual arts organisation in North Kent.
